Chang Mi Today
A lot has changed since Chang Mi was formed 23 years ago. Then again, a lot hasn't changed, too.
We still offer Korean dance lessons on Saturdays to guys and gals ages 4 to
adult. Dancers learn Korean dance, build self esteem, take pride in their heritage and develop friendships with other dancers. In addition, we've branched out to offer advanced dance classes, Korean drumming classes, and adult Korean dance and drumming on Saturday, Sunday and weekdays.
Both boys and girls enjoy our traditional Korean drumming classes! There are drum groups for all ages at the Korean Heritage House Studio. Samulnori/Poongmul groups, Sam Go Mu (3-drum), Changgo and Buk teams.
Chang Mi Korean Dance & Drum encourages adoptees and other Korean Americans to embrace their heritage and also promotes a positive awareness of Korean American culture in the community.
