Chang Mi dancers perform all around the Twin Cities... and beyond
The Chang Mi Korean Dancers perform regularly at sporting events, community festivals, corporate multicultural events, schools, churches. Our dancers and drummers may be the kid next door, but they are practiced and polished—many have attended dance lessons since they were in Kindergarten.
When you watch the Chang Mi Dancers perform you're seeing the real deal. Chang Mi's artistic director, Brooke Newmaster, has studied dance and drum in Seoul, Korea with Yang, Gil Soon and studied drum under the tutelage of Yoo, In Sang at the Korean Traditional Music and Percussion Institute PAN in Seoul. Her students have benefited greatly from her training.
